We are very happy people. But here are some tricks that will help to be even happier.
It’s easier than you think. Start by being good to yourself.
Commit to doing one nice thing for yourself every day.
This will motivate you to take better care of yourself, and to make you chase your dreams.
Listen to yourself.
Be confident and listen to what your gut feeling says. You will avoid having regrets later on.
find your strengths
Find out what your are good at. Most of the time you are good at that because you love doing that activity. Always do what you love.
Eliminate toxic people in your life and workplace.
There is no reason to put up with people that don’t bring positive energy to your life.
Get some exercise.
Regardless of what sport or activity works for you, your day will be improved if you do something athletic.
Worrying doesn’t take away tomorrow’s troubles.
It takes away today’s peace.
By doing deep breathing during the day, you can calm yourself down and not let stress get to you.
Give yourself a welcoming space.
Arriving to a pleasant, organised, clean space will make you feel calmer and more in control.
Get some sunlight.
Get as much natural light as you can. If this is not possible get outside walks as often as you can.
Go to bed early
Your body NEEDS sleep for it to work well. This is the only way your body is able to recharge its energy (well, this and also eating in a healthy and balanced way).
Surround yourself by experts.
Accept that you are not good at everything. Productive people often succeed because they surround themselves with people that are great at what they do.
All of the above need a commitment. You won’t see results after doing it only one time. However, by repeating them over and over again, you will improve your life greatly.
Aristotle said: “We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence is not an act, but a habit.”
